Chaya
Chaya is sassy, fun and independent. Not shy of telling you what she thinks Chaya will have you laughing, crying and wondering what you ever did before you met her! Very intelligent, she is able to figure out what you want and what you're willing to settle for.
Chaya loves playing games, especially if there is food involved (she is a serious foodie)! Get to Chaya's heart (it may involve some carrots and scratches) and she will share with you her deep wisdom and joy.
Chaya’s Love Language: Receiving Gifts
Chaya’s love language is receiving gifts in the form of sweet, little, orange pieces (carrots!). The way to Chaya’s heart is through her stomach. So, if you want to be best buddies with Chaya, food is the key!
Chaya’s name means ‘full of life’ in Hebrew. When we adopted her, we changed her name to Chaya to signify the beginning of her new life with the Aligned Living family.

Kaya
Young Kaya is our ‘golden princess’ at Aligned Living! Kaya is 4.5 years old and is a Welsh Pony, for 2 years of her life she was kept with dogs and has picked up on some canine like traits. She loves being with people and follows her big sister - Chaya, around like a shadow.
Kaya has a friendly, inquisitive nature and is more than happy to spend all day with you. She also loves talking over the fence to her love interest Teddy, often found touching noses with him. You will love hanging out with this sweet pony. Enjoy a snuggle, stroll or just hangout and chat with Kaya!
Kaya’s Love Language: Quality Time
Kaya doesn’t love anything more than to spend time with her horse and human friends. You will never find her too far away from her big sister Chaya.
Kaya is the Nyoongar word for hello. This name is a perfect fit for her because she came with us and helped us say ‘hello’ to new beginnings at our new venue!

Teddy
Teddy is a nine year old off the track thoroughbred. He is cheeky, inquisitive and laidback. He loves to investigate things with his mouth, chew on lead ropes, put his muzzle inside hats, nibble at your clothes and smell your coffee.
You might find a characteristic in Teddy that you recognise in yourself or find an area that you would like to be strengthened. You can’t help but fall in love with his cheeky nature!
Teddy’s Love Language: Words of Affirmation
Teddy is a bit too keen on carrots so we try and use words of affirmation as his treat and he loves this just as much as carrots. He loves to feel like a good boy and words of affirmation do this for sure!
Teddy is a French name and means ‘wealthy protector’, ‘brave’ and ‘Gods gift’!
Fun fact: Teddy’s second name is Bear (Teddy-Bear) - how cute!?
